Kadent Expands Operations into the
City of Reading
WYOMISSING, PA — Accounts
Recovery Bureau, Inc. (ARB), a collection agency owned by Kadent, plans to move
into the former Exide Building at 645 Penn Street, Reading in the first
quarter. ARB expects to move at least
50 employees from its Wyomissing facility into the new location.
“We are looking forward to
operating our collections and call center business in Reading,” said Bruce Colburn,
Kadent’s president and chief executive officer. “The facility is secure and
convenient for performing this crucial aspect of our business. In addition, our excess capacity in the
building will allow for an additional 70 local employees to be hired to meet
ARB’s near-term strategic acquisition and growth plans.”
Colburn said he is grateful
to Mayor Thomas McMahon, Managing Director Leon Churchill, and Reading Area
Water Authority Chairman John Ulrich and his board members for their
encouragement and assistance in securing ARB’s office space.
Kadent will continue to
maintain 60 employees at its national headquarters located at 555 Van Reed Rd.
In business for more than
30 years, Kadent—formerly the Landau Group—provides revenue cycle management
solutions from its three principal businesses: outsourcing healthcare business
office operations (Kadent Healthcare); traditional collection agency services
to the healthcare, government and utility industries (ARB); and data
analysis/management and processing services (Kadent Technologies).
